M.A.C Match Master

Hii there my Simple Ladies I'm back again with a quick & simple post.
So last week I decided to get the M.A.C Match Master, since I'm going to take allot of pictures this month & I want to look flawless.
But as soon as it's January I am defiantly buying The Bobbi Brown Liquid Foundation.
I do like the M.A.C Match Master foundation buuut after trying The Bobbi Brown foundation, I believe it's going to be hard for me to like any other foundation like that one.
So you may ask why 2 foundations??
Well, allot of you ladies know that Bobbi Brown cosmetics are very expensive.
So to make it last longer I will only use it on special occasion.

To apply my foundation I'm using the e.l.f foundation brush it's not my favorite but it does get the job done.

I decided to buy the one with the pump, since it will be easier for me to manage & not so messy cause I can be a klutz sometimes :P

& I did a little swatch here so you ladies can see.

Pretty in Peplum & Stunning in Sequin❆❆

So in a few weeks it's Christmas I wonder how many Ladies are exited & freaking out at the same time, cause they don't know exactly what they're gonna wear yet. So here are a few dresses, skirts &
tops that I think you can Rock this Christmas.

I started by picking out a few Peplum Dresses I find them great especially for a family christmas dinner. Find the right size & you can never go wrong with a Peplum dress.
First of all the peplum dress is  a very classic look & it will give you some curves you never thought you had,
cause it fit's your body so good you will be amazed my friend.

Or if you're not so into dresses this year, you can also Rock the Peplum Tops with a nice high waisted skirt or some nice colored jeggings.

Now if you're invited at night for a christmas party after your family christmas dinner. The ideal style that I find that is awesome to rock is SEQUIN.
It's perfect, you will look stunning and fabulous!!
Now if you find that rocking a full sequin dress is to much for you, you can always go with a sequin top or a sequin skirt.

But if you're daring and willing to rock the dress
Go ahead you will look amazing!!

Bobbi Brown Workshop ♥

Hii There my Simple Ladies :)
So last Saturday my fellow blogger friends & I went to a Bobbi Brown Workshop. First we got an explanation about the Bobbi Brown brand on how it all started and where it is now.
It was a great experience, and we had a wonderful time. Then we got  step by step guidelines how to apply your daily makeup correctly.
Starting by choosing the right foundation, concealer, powder bronzer, etc etc & the right way to apply them on our faces.

When we got there we saw that there was a table with mirrors, brush cases and a cute little sample lip glosses. We where all exited because that meant that instead of only watching we would also be applying our own makeup.

When everyone arrived we started with the workshop. The first step was the skin care routine, so we started by taking off our makeup. The products that most of us used was.

The Bobbi Brown Oil cleanser & The Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Tonic. The Oil Cleanser was very light it didn't feel heavy on my skin at all. You know sometimes when you use tonic & after a min your skin feels tight, well I didn't experience that with the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Tonic. I was very impressed

Here you can see one of the bloggers (Cristina) trying to find witch shade of foundation is the right one for here. She has 3 different shades.

I just love the way the foundation just blends in with your skin not leaving any streaks behind, if you look close you can see that the middle one totally blend in with her skin.

Here you can see another blogger (Berry) choosing her translucent powder, to see which one was the right color for her.

PICTURE TIME!!

The Basics for Beginners ✔

Hey there my Simple Ladies :)
How many of you ladies are new to the make-up world or are just getting into it, buuut you don't know where to start. When I first started I had the same problem but thank god I had my friend there to guide me threw it. And then I was wondering, how many ladies out there are still having  problems with that. Soo I decided that I will be making a post just to give you an idea on the beginners make-up essentials that you should have.
And since you're just getting started you don't need allot of makeup.

First of all you would wanna start with a makeup bag obviously or else were would your makeup go :P

The first product that would be good to have in your makeup bag is a tinted lip balm, cause it's very sheer and it wont look to bold and heavy and it will give you a little bit of shine.

Another makeup that you should have is a concealer
Concealer is for dark under-eye circles, blemishes, spots and discoloration. If you are going to use it for under-eye circles, apply concealer first, then foundation. For blemishes and pimple coverage, apply foundation first or the concealer will be rubbed away in the foundation application.
Remember that you are trying to achieve a consistent skin tone, so experiment with different shades and formulas to find a solution that meets your specific needs.

So a black mascara opens the eyes and gives the lashes a fuller effect. Even though you can pick from many different shades, black will give you the best outcome for a set of full, thick lashes that everyone will envy. However, if you have very light hair and skin you may find that very black mascara may be to overwhelming.  So you can try using a brown/black mascara to not overwhelm your look.

When you are going to apply your eye liner, the line should be very thin at the eye's corner and widen as it goes on. you can also add tails (wings or cat eye's). It can get difficult because, you can have the problem that the tails are two different lengths or shapes. If needed, make a small dot, that you will not notice after application where you would like the liner to end. Once the marks are even draw the tail. You can start at the dot and connect it to the existing liner or vice versa

The first thing you will want to decide is which kind of formulation you want. Besides the standard liquid and powder versions, you also have the choice of mousse, cream and spray foundation. A better way to decide your option is to choose based on your type of skin. Like for example, oily skin should opt for a powder foundation as it will help to mattify shine and it will not feel heavy or greasy on your skin. Cream foundation are a smart choice for woman with dry skin as they tend to be more moisturizing.

Last but not least a neutral eye shadow palette.
I find it very important that as a beginner with makeup it's best for you to start with a Neutral eye shadow.
Why, cause most of the color are soft and  neutral so if  you make a mistake it won't be that visible. Apply a light, neutral tone all over your lid and just above your crease and use a slightly darker to softly line the top lid and outline your crease (for a more natural look you can blend the colors)

I hope that this has helped you & please remember that these are what I think that is essential for someone to have as a beginner it's not a must

~Lancôme La Vie Est Belle~

Hii there my Simple Ladies..
So Last week Thursday half of my fellow blogger friends & I got invited to an perfume launch event  La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme. Witch took place at Penha, we we're all so exited to be invited to such an event.
First of all we got a whole explanation of the perfume, what the form of the bottle represents witch was the smile from the Famous actor Julia Roberts & Lancôme's international make-up artist Alfred Vargas gave us also a little bit of a 411 of the make-up collection that came with it.

The fragrance, whose name translates as “life is beautiful,” was developed by perfumers Olivier PolgeDominique Ropion and Anne Flipo. Its composition includes notes of Florentine Iris pallida, iris aldehyde, jasmine sambac, Tunisian orange blossom, Indonesian patchouli, and a “gourmand accord” of vanilla, tonka bean, praline, black currant and pear. According to Lancôme, La Vie Est Belle represents “a new era” and “the choice to live one’s life and fill it with beauty.” (You can find more information on the fragrance’s philosophy at the Lancôme website.)

So here you can see how Alfred Vargas was busy putting on make-up on the other half of the model's face. In the other pictures below, were Alfred Was holding the mascara he was giving us a little explanation about the mascara before he proceeded on applying it on the model's eyelashes.

Alfred Vargas was showing us this little pamphlet were you can see step by step how you could properly apply your Night Look eye shadow.

Can anybody saaaay cheese, so after that we basically took pictures like craaazy enjoy :)
